MAP_IT is an administration society which has been established on third May 1999 under Society Registration Act 1973, to drive the development of Information Technology (IT) in Madhya Pradesh and actualize the State IT Policy. MAP_IT has the accompanying targets.
To give IT contributions to government divisions/organizations and to help them in computerisation and systems administration.
To co-ordinate with speculators and industry,trade associations and budgetary organizations in broad daylight and private part in order to advance development in the IT division.
To encourage Human Resource Development in the field of IT in the Government.
To encourage utilization of Hindi language in IT related tasks.
To attempt some other function(s) as might be doled out by the State Government.
To Provide the Consultancy Services to the Government divisions/organizations and to charge for the administration, if requires.
To support Information Technology related exercises and advancements in the state.
To embrace all works identified with the advancement of Information Education and Communication and Usage of Information Technology (IT), Information Technology empowered Services (ITeS), Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Electronics in the State.
